In the Autumn/Winter 2020/21 collection, the footwear that “breathes”, Italian excellence and unparalleled comfort offer a new response to the changed demands of the male buying public. If the characteristics of breathability, waterproofing and thermo-regulation – serving the aim of wellbeing and optimal freedom of movement – have been the cornerstones of GEOX collections since the brand was founded, the theme of eco-sustainability is now an equally large and integral part of the collective consciousness and modern living.

In the world of GEOX, this is expressed perfectly by the two must-have models for this season: Nebula, the ultimate lightweight and flexible sneakers, and Aerantis, featuring an exclusive air circulation system that combines three different patented technologies. The uppers, in a jacquard material made from recycled plastic, need just two and a half bottles for each pair; with the contrasting white soles of Nebula or tonal ones as seen in the ultra-colourful Aerantis models, they are also leading the way in terms of style.

The cupsole version of Nebula, in gloss-finish leather, retains its typical youthful and dynamic charm but opts for a simpler look, interpreted with intense colours such as blue, khaki and wine red. The unusual pairing of suede leather and mélange fabric, on the other hand, gives Levita a decidedly unconventional look, with a final twist coming from the see-through soles that offer a glimpse of the famous waterproof and breathable membrane.

In the GEOX Autumn/Winter collection, the fully waterproof Amphibiox models also hold an honorary spot: highly urban, their tumbled calfskin black look pairs with red laces and metal eyelets inspired by trekking – a theme that continues, albeit more subtly, in the black calfskin or sand-coloured nubuck hi-top Aerantis models, which also feature Amphibiox technology. The casual fabric and suede patchwork sneakers are also fully waterproof, as is Modual, a low-cut model with a removable inner element that accentuates its versatility, where the black tone is accented with blue, yellow or red linings, soles and laces.

Finally, an elegant cupsole with suede and crocodile-print leather panels represents the more traditional part of the collection, which nevertheless retains a casual and laid-back vibe: there are lace-ups, monkstraps, desert boots and ankle boots in leather, sometimes alternated or side-by-side with suede, which favour classic lines along with a breathable and waterproof sole, the common feature of all GEOX creations.
