GEOX – Milan Fashion Week of Upcoming Fall Winter 2023 Collection

Casual, suave, sporty or formal – whatever their character or purpose is, the various types of footwear presented by GEOX for the Autumn-Winter 23/24 season all have one thing in common – unmistakeable Italian panache. Brand-new designs and superb revisitations of classic timeless aesthetics create an on-trend repertoire packed with pieces that are even more comfortable thanks to carefully-sourced premium, innovative and often ecological natural or recycled materials and patented GEOX technology. These products deliver outstanding breathability, waterproofness and thermo-regulation while keeping the cold weather at bay.

Spherica’s cushioning system made up of spheres fitted onto the outsole for unmatched comfort now takes it up a notch and surprises with a brand-new guise. In addition to the classic loafers, some of the most standout styles of the season are lace-ups, loafers, ankle boots and Chelsea boots set on a lug sole made from plain leather or black or dark-brown suede. Then, there are all kinds of cupsole sneakers: white ones, blue ones and ones in tumbled calfskin with elasticated lacing that slip on with ease; on the other hand, the ones in nappa rest on a chunky outsole. Still others in navy blue or army green come in Econyl, a regenerated and regenerable nylon yarn which is a prime example of environmentally-friendly sustainability: more iterations are made from microfibre and a recycled PET fabric which breathe life back into retro elegance lifted with neon detailing. With an insert at the back of the outsole that has been made to match the upper and enhances the bouncy affect, the Spherica Actif are in blue or army-green neoprene with nappa or suede detailing. This fresh-new version vies with the knitted version in terms of elegance and comfort, and softens the rich autumnal palette with a shaded effect.

Rendered in a nubuck material that counterpoints the sleek silhouette of the white outsole, Fluctis is another GEOX icon with a sharp chic aesthetic that elevates the concept of casual stylishness. A symbol of this trend par excellence, the cupsoles in blue or army-green nubuck are set on a signature waterproof breathable outsole in a contrasting white palette, but there are other cupsoles in white leather with a brown crocodile-print detail; on the other hand, the patchwork styles in leather and fabric are cast in black or cognac brown and have a running-shoe vibe.

In addition to the restrained black or dark-brown derby lace-ups in brushed leather, there are Chelsea boots and ankle boots which epitomise the spirit of the collection, lending themselves perfectly to formal outfits with a design that is particularly suited to the season. With a highly classic feel yet as comfortable as sneakers, the ankle boots and Walk Pleasure derby lace-ups boast an excellent cushioning effect thanks to the special design with a waterproof breathable outsole made from two materials featuring different textures.

The advent of winter undoubtedly calls for Geox Amphibiox technology because it guarantees the maximum waterproofness and breathability, even when the weather does it worst. And it merges its own undoubted properties with the virtues of the Spherica outsoles in the hybrid high-top sneakers made from tumbled calfskin and leather in navy blue or cognac brown. The Plus Grip outsole, which tackles the slipperiest surfaces with exceptional stability thanks to its special shape, is a natural complement to Amphibiox technology: this successful combination is to be found in the running-style sneakers in white, blue, or dark grey and army green; but also in the extremely elegant ankle boots that tap into a hiking aesthetic and are crafted from suede in army green or dark brown with a top trim in black leather; and also in the sportier ones in printed black, brown or ochre calfskin. Back in town, the ankle boots in black and brown tumbled leather bring up the rear with a masterful touch of laid-back casual stylishness.

With the collection of female footwear for the Autumn-Winter 23/24 collection, GEOX puts its own spin on contemporary elegance and fuses exclusive materials and sharp detailing with a vast range of shapes and styles that is bound to meet everyone’s everyday requirements. Epitomising unmistakable Italian stylishness, the designs are incredibly affordable without detracting in any way from the blissful pleasure and supreme comfort assured by GEOX’s technological research. A guarantee that rests on the cornerstones of breathability, waterproofness and thermo-regulation – all trademark characteristics of the Italian brand.

The most contemporary take on formality is to be found in the Walk Pleasure range – a wide collection of masculine-looking lace-ups, court shoes, loafers, boots and ankle boots that all benefit from the innovative shape of the outsole with two materials of differing consistencies side by side, making them as comfortable as sneakers. Crafted from premium brushed black leather or suede, these great classics from the female wardrobe are counterpointed by other timeless designs, such as the riding boots in refined tumbled leather that are also available in an ankle height. Other boots rest on a high heel and boast a restrained silhouette counterpointed by the sheer decadence of crocodile-print leather, while a metal buckle in a rich gold tone adorns ballet flats, low-heeled loafers and suede ankle boots rendered in a deep burgundy or dark-denim palette. The ankle boots are a golden thread that runs through the whole season. Explored thoroughly, they also feature an extremely fashion-forward look with a crepe platform (in a high or flat version) that crops up on boots and lace-up styles and is a perfect foil to brushed black leather and camel-brown suede alike.

A versatile style icon packed with GEOX technology, Spherica marks the transition from a modern formal style to a modish casual upper. The cushioning system, which softens the impact of the foot on the ground thanks to a series of spheres along the (waterproof and breathable, of course) outsole, is now elevated by a series of new designs. Made from supple leather, it now comes as a lugsole loafer, tall boot and combat boot with a front or side zip closure; then, it is available as a cupsole with a rounded shape and it also crops up on sneakers, lace-up ankle boots or Chelsea boots in nubuck or suede. While these variants come in black or sandy yellow, other cupsole sneakers or running-style Spherica shoes feature gorgeous glossy or matt tactile patchwork patterning with quilted velvet, suede and shiny or glittery surfaces in autumnal jewel tones of deep blue or claret red; on the other hand, a metallic gleam catches the eye on the nude, muted-grey or blue palette of the Spherica Actifs in nubuck or a hi-tech fabric. Econyl, the regenerated and regenerable nylon yarn chosen by GEOX for many of its environmentally, friendly models, is complemented by nappa on the other Spherica sneakers, while those made from a recycled and environmentally-friendly PET fabric exude retro allure.

Waterproof and breathable, the Plus Grip non-slip outsole complements the urban outdoor aesthetic of the hiking boots in suede and nubuck and that of the sneakers made from a hi-tech fabric and nappa. The colour palette is natural, warm and subtle, heralding the part of the collection meant for the heart of winter. The Amphibiox boots crafted from suede with either nylon or plain calfskin deliver the maximum waterproofness and breathability even when the weather does its worst, and offer all the reliable traction of the Plus Grip outsole. Last but not least, the Spherica Amphibiox ankle boots successfully combine all the best qualities of patented GEOX technology: the ones made from suede with an eco-fur lining are the ultimate city choice whereas those in nappa and padded nylon are a smart option for snowy slopes, keeping you snug and confident thanks to their exceptionally comfortable structure.
