- Responsibility for staffing, leading, coaching and challenging the relevant department.
- Responsibility for the forecasting, budgeting and P&L of the respective brand.
- Responsibility for identifying, shortlisting, negotiating with principals + land lords and finalizing jointly with the VP & COO
- Defining, establishing and executing yearly budget in terms of sales, gross profits and inventory levels of the respective brand.
- Monitoring the brand’s performances down to the article level, product mix and per store basis.
- Defining the products in each category based on local market needs as well as identifying principals and establishing the relationship with them, negotiating terms and conditions and ordering and reordering processes.
- Ensuring that the stock holding is maintained at the optimum level to maximize sales and to ensure that merchandise is distributed to the requesting store efficiently to meet sales demand.
- Responsible for layout and merchandising (including visual merchandising), in coordination with Merchandiser & Regional Operations Manager.
- Responsible in defining the pricing strategy to optimize the potential profitability.
- Ensuring that the stock count has been conducted properly by the stores and in coordination with Regional Operations Manager.
- Observation of the activities of competitors; collect data to make up-to-date information available on the activities of competitors.
- Analysis of market information; follow new developments and trends in order to be up-to-date on the situation on his/her area’s market.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of brand management, supply chain management, procurement experience within the fashion retail sector at Assistant Brand Manager, Brand Manager, or equivalent level, with prior experience in managing a team in the relevant categories including sales or front of house staff.
- University degree (Master or Bachelor) or minimum another higher education in economics or commerce or fashion & merchandising.
- Must be fluent in English (both written and spoken)
- Excellent expertise in relevant category’s products, principals, operations, sales, customers and import.
- Excellent knowledge of procurement principles, methods and processes, e.g. in range and collection building.
- Excellent communication, negotiation skills and knowledge in financial management
- Good knowledge in Change Management.
- Very good understanding and ability to apply to business specifics in other countries, intercultural competence.
- Excellent leadership skills with positive vision to lead the whole team in the right spirit to achieve the objectives.
- Strong interest to learn about new cultures and strong coaching ability.
